Vanacker, Leenders heading to Prospects game

Marek Vanacker of the Brantford Bulldogs and Ryerson Leenders of the Mississauga Steelheads have been selected to play in the 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Vanacker of Delhi and Leenders of Nanticoke, are among the 18 OHL players who will take to the ice at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, NB. on Jan. 24.
The game showcases the Top 40 junior hockey players eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft, which takes place in June. The game will be aired live on TSN and TSN.ca. The players come from the Western Hockey League and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League and the game attracts hundreds of NHL scouts
Leenders, a goalie, has played 22 games this year and has a 12-10 win/loss record with a 3.40 goals against average and a 0.905 save percentage for the Steelheads.
Vanacker, a left-winger, has 12 goals and 17 assists in 31 games for the Bulldogs so far this season.
