Hearn, Hendershott teeing up

Brantford’s David Hearn and Dennis Hendershott will be playing in PGA Tour golf tournaments this week.
Hearn will play in the PGA Tour’s season opening A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier in West Virginia.
Hearn tees off at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday for the first round at the The Old White TPC in Sulphur Springs before going off at 1:25 p.m. on Friday for the second round.
Hendershott was one of four players to qualify for the PGA Tour Champion’s Ally Challenge.
On Monday, he shot a six-under-par 66 in qualifying at the Flint Golf Club, finishing in a tie for third with Todd Fischer. Esteban Toledo and Mark Walker each shot 65s.
This will be Hendershott’s second Champions event, having played in The Senior Open Championship where he finished tied for 70th.
The Ally Championship begins on Friday at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Michigan and tee times are not available until the day before the start of the event.
