Linebacker Dillon Grondin of Sarnia has been added to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ practice roster.
Grondin, 26, played 15 games with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2016 and 2017.
The six-foot-one, 220-pound Grondin made four special-teams tackles and one defensive tackle in 11 games as a rookie in 2016.
He made two special-teams tackles in four games in 2017 before suffering a season-ending knee injury in August.
He went to training camp this season with the Roughriders, but they released him in June.
The St. Christopher’s graduate moved up to the CFL after playing five seasons with the Windsor AKO Fratmen in the Canadian Junior Football League.
