Oneida's Sage Doxtater eighth overall in latest CFL draft rankings

He hasn’t played a game in more than a year, but Oneida Nation’s Sage Doxtater remains one of the Canadian Football League’s top draft prospects.
The six-foot-seven, 330-pound New Mexico State Aggie is ranked eighth overall and third among offensive linemen in the second edition of the CFL draft’s top 20, according to the league’s central scouting bureau. No. 1 ranked Alaric Jackson of Iowa and No. 7 Liam Dobson of Maine are ahead of Doxtater at his position.
The scouting bureau releases its rankings three times a year.
New Mexico State sat out the NCAA Division I season because of the COVID-19 pandemic but the program plans a three-game spring schedule starting Feb. 20.
