Regarding Heinz ketchup’s production returning to return to Canada.

Heinz announced it was returning to Canada. However they have chosen a site in Montreal, having left Leamington several years ago.

The difference this time around is the tomatoes will not be grown in Canada as they are being imported from the U.S.

Contrary to their old advertising adage, there are other kinds, once I tasted Heinz.

Why no charges?

Why are all of the anti-restriction protesters not charged with gatherings of more than 25 people, no distancing, trespassing and inciting an unlawful gathering?

I believe fines levied at protesters and those who include their children would be a deterrent and make the organizers think twice about these unlawful, selfish assemblies.

Balance needed

Any democracy flourishes when truthful right and left points of view are presented to the electorate. However, the current U.S. conservative right is highly skewed to a point of view that is unhealthy, as demonstrated by Benjamin Carter’s book, Death of Democracy.

Herein, the American right is adopting the same philosophy as Adolf Hitler did in 1918. Hitler blamed the Communists and Jews for the German defeat in 1918. Trump and his cronies blame the legitimate media and Democrats.

Also, like Hitler’s Brownshirt thugs, Trump is inciting right-wing extremists to follow him.

The U.S. Republican Party should be ashamed of itself, by not having the guts to distance themselves from this blithering Twitter twit.
