Is there no place for daughter to work?

Article content

I find it so hard to believe that my daughter – who is 19 and has cerebral palsy and who walks with the aid of her walker – cannot find a job in this town. She has applied to so many jobs that I have lost count.

She is able to work either using her walker or wheelchair but yet nobody will consider her.

I know she would need a bit more room with her chair, but surely to goodness there has to be a job for her in this community. She is just an average 19-year-old woman who wants a job to pay for college next year.

I would really hate to think we must move to a bigger community for this to happen for her.

Just hoping some company will give her a chance.
