The Show: This play was performed at the Grand Theatre in 2012 to good reviews. The play tells the story of former cattle farmer, Peter, who arrives at Ed’s Garage looking for court-ordered counselling after a run-in with a township building official trying to block Peter’s plan to turn the family farm into a bed and breakfast. Ed doesn’t just run a garage that just fixes cars or boat motors. He also fixes people, who come regularly to sit in a Muskoka chair and talk about their troubles, often enduring Ed’s unorthodox, but effective, treatments.  The show stars London actor and Port Stanley Festival Theatre favourite Jeff Culbert  (The Wildest Town in Canada: Donnelly Songs and Stories, The Drawer Boy), Andy Pogson (Stag and Doe), Mark Crawford (Stag and Doe, The Birds and the Bees), and Elana Post (Perfect Wedding, The Melville Boys).
