Two people charged with drug offences

On February 21st officers from the Ontario Provincial Police North East Region Community Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the North East Region OPP Crime Unit, the North East Region OPP Emergency Response Team and the North East Region OPP Canine Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Premier Avenue.
Police seized drugs suspected to be Fentanyl and Methamphetamine. Canadian currency was also seized. Total street value of the seizure is estimated to be $5,800.
As a result of the police investigation, two people have been arrested and charged.
Mark ANDERSON, age 54, of Kirkland Lake was charged with the following:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA),
Possession of a Scheduled I Substance – Methamphetamine, contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA,
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and Breach of Conditional Sentence Order, contrary to section 742.3 of the CC.
None of the charges have been proven in court
Chantal AUBE, age 41, of Kirkland Lake was charged with the following:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA),
Possession of a Scheduled I Substance – Methamphetamine, contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA,
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
Fail to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
