Thefts from vehicles in Tillsonburg

Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police responded to several thefts from vehicles in Tillsonburg reported to police on Feb. 12.
Vehicle entries were reported on Broadway, Trailview Drive and Concession Street West overnight between Monday, Feb. 11 and Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Items stolen included loose change, a card holder wallet containing various gift cards and personal photos, a phone charger, and a ladies wallet containing credit/debit cards and various identification.
Evidence has revealed two male suspects on bicycles are responsible for at least one of the vehicle entries on Trailview Drive.
These incidents should serve as another reminder to residents to lock their vehicles and to keep valuables out of plain view.
Thefts from vehicles are often crimes of opportunity and highly preventable. Please do your part to help prevent this type of crime.
