One new case of COVID-19 in Haldimand Norfolk

The Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit reported one new positive case of COVID-19 on Aug. 8.

Statistics in the daily update show there are now 29 active cases in the region, bringing the total to 466 since the pandemic began in mid-March.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus remains at 405.

COVID-19 has claimed the life of 32 people in Haldimand Norfolk, including 27 residents at Anson Place Care Centre in Hagersville, and one migrant farm worker.
