Car hits front porch in Tillsonburg

On Saturday, Nov. 3, at approximately 12:40 a.m., members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single vehicle collision on Baldwin Street, just west of Quarter Town Line in Tillsonburg.
Through investigation it is believed the 4-door car was travelling westbound on Baldwin Street when it left the roadway, drove onto the sidewalk then struck the front porch of a residence. The residents in the home were not injured.
As a result of the collision, the adult male driver of the vehicle was extricated with the assistance of Tillsonburg Fire and Rescue Services and was transported to hospital by Oxford County Paramedics with life threatening injuries. Two adult male passengers in the vehicle were also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed for several hours to allow the OPP technical collision investigators to process the scene of the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
