Armed robbery at Hagersville store

A man armed with a handgun robbed the Circle K Convenience Store in Hagersville early Tuesday morning.
The man entered the store on Main Street North at just after 4 a.m. He jumped over the counter and demanded money from the store clerk.
The man removed several items before fleeing from the store.
The store employee was not physically injured, say police.
The suspect is described as being 6-feet in height with a large build. He was wearing a black hooded sweater with a charcoal coloured jacket at the time of the robbery. A balaclava covered his face.
The Haldimand County OPP Crime Unit is investigating.
