London-area artists are featured in a new exhibition at a Wortley Village gallery.
Works by Denise Antaya and Donna Andreychuk are part of the exhibition now at Westland Gallery until Oct. 9.
“This exhibition presents a journey of emotion through landscape, exploring visual language and expression through art both traditional and contemporary in nature,” said Westland’s Kaitlyn Sun Hwang.
“Viewers can see each artist’s deep connection to their natural surroundings. Their painting approaches range from hyper-realism to abstract gestural mark making, just as the environment itself varies.”
The show features pieces by Antaya’s high-realism landscape paintings and select expressionistic paintings by Andreychuk.
One event is planned during this exhibition — an artist talk with Antaya Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. The exhibition can be viewed online and in person.
