The Road to Rock the Park patio series promised a month ago by Jones Entertainment Group in place of a full festival at Harris Park has found a home for intimate performances featuring The Trews, Tim Hicks, The Reklaws, Duelling Pianos and two Classic Albums Live shows.

The patio at Crossings Pub and Eatery at 1269 Hyde Park Rd. will be the location for shows limited to 100 guests, sponsored by Coors Light and Delta Hotels by Marriott London Armouries.

A third show with The Trews ($125 per person, all included) already has been added for July 22, in addition to July 23 and 24. Tickets for The Trews go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The dinner series also includes Tim Hicks ($125) July 2-3, Duelling Pianos ($90) July 9-10 and Aug. 20-21, The Reklaws ($125) July 16-17, Classic Albums Live: Led Zeppelin II ($125) Aug. 6-7, and Classic Albums Live: CCR Chronicles ($125) Aug. 27-28.

Single tickets are not being sold. Ticket buyers must buy a table for six.

“We’re already close to being sold out for all of the weekends,” said Brad Jones, president of Jones Entertainment Group.

“We’ll probably be adding more shows, including Aug. 13-14. The demand is there. People haven’t had a live experience for 18 months and you can’t just look at a computer screen forever. Nothing beats live entertainment. There’s nothing like being in a crowd with your friends listening to live music and eating great food. People love being together and nothing can replace it.”

Dinner and drinks are not included in the ticket price. Jones said menus will be emailed to ticket holders and they will be contacted a week or two before the show to confirm dinner and drink orders.

Jones described the setting as “gorgeous” adding that city staff “were amazing helping us get this done.”

“There will be a beautiful big tent there as you come in,” he said.

“There will be 16 tables with six people at each. Where else are you going to have a chance in such an intimate setting to listen to artists like Tim Hicks or The Trews?”

Crossings owner Christian Bond said he’s thrilled to be home to the shows.

“We’re totally excited,” Bond said. “This is such an exciting event for us to host at our Crossings Pub location. We are truly looking forward for the opportunity to have our guests experience these bands. It really is a bonus for this summer as restrictions start to open back up.”

Said Jones: “It’s always a great opportunity to be able to partner with other local businesses within the London area. It is important to support our local restaurants, especially after the last 18 months. We’re excited to show our fans and customers a version of Rock the Park that can happen in a safe and COVID-friendly way. This gives everyone a small taste of what is surely on the horizon for the entertainment industry.”
