Men's A

Haines Roofing won easily over a pair of B opponents last week in Tillsonburg's Men's A slo-pitch.

G.C. Lounsbury also won twice looking impressive in a nine-run decision over last year's runner-up I.C. Waters.

Robert Q Travel came from behind to defeat Maple View Variety, Maple View won by three over Corey's Restaurant.

Hounds - Ryan Blackman 4-4, Chris Brittain 2-3

G.C. Lounsbury took advantage of an eight-man Hounds squad. Kent Collings hit homers in consecutive at-bats.

G.C. Lounsbury broke this one open courtesy of a six-run fifth. Cheyne Sarafinchin hit a grand slam in the rally.

Maple View led right up to Robert Q's final at-bat, Robert Q scored six runs winning on Bryan DeBlaire's walk off hit.

Hounds - Greg Hutchison 2-2, Ryan Blackman 2-2

Haines plated seven in the third and fifth innings. Dave Phillips and Phil Durham each scored five runs.

Men's B

Ward's Automotive continued to roll as they beat Team Awesome by eight and tied Sunrise Equipment Roosters to remain unbeaten.

R n D Carpentry got into the win column with an easy win over Team Awesome.

Roosters tied it on Nate Malcolm's three-run seventh inning homer. The eighth inning was scoreless for both sides.

Men's C

The C teams provided the most results from this past week. Trophy Realty Corp. Expos finally got to play their first game outslugging Orchard Crest Farms in a game that produced 56 runs. Orchard Crest evened their week with a 10-run victory over Catlack Excavating.

Swamp Donkeys, Hit n Run and Jokers collected the other victories.

Orchard Crest - Chris Fisher 5-5, Kalvin Smith 4-5 2 HR, Craig Boucher HR

Craig Robb was a double shy of hitting for the cycle and Christian Devlin was a triple shy to help lead Trophy Realty in this slugfest.

Abe Klassen led off the game with a homer and then homered consecutively in his final two at-bats.

Brew Jays - Brandon Vermeersch 3-3, Mike Heavens 2-2, Tom Csoff HR

Rob Stortz was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle while Chris White drove in four for the Jokers.

Kevin Listar hit for the cycle for the winners while Craig Boucher drove in eight runs.

Men's D

Sluggers won in exciting fashion over C's Jokers.

Sluggers stole this one away courtesy of a seven-run seventh. Pete Dyck's two-run triple was key.

Ladies A

The two leaders were given all they could handle from their opponents as Indi-Girls scored late to put Service Master away, while Corey's Restaurant scored runs late to come from behind to defeat Jays.

Service Master - Jodi Hodges 4-4, Crystal Laforge 3-4

Service Master fought back to pull within one in the sixth but Indi-Girls replied with six in their half of the frame.

Corey's - Deb Simmonds 3-3, Lauren Duffy 3-4

Jays - Amy Beattie 2-3, Melissa Hughes 2-3

Natasha Noel led Corey's with a pair of triples and three runs scored, Shannon O'Neil added a bases clearing double in the seventh.

Ladies B

SOS Towing mercied George's Auto in the only B action reported from last week.

George's - Britt Sandham 2-3, Kerilyn Bruckler 3-3

Nicole Cuerrier tripled, doubled and drove in four for SOS.
