Reading into Tillsonburg Legion's first Psychic, Wellness Show

Sandi Pake was more than the organizer of Tillsonburg's first Psychic and Wellness Show Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion, and 'ringer of the bell.'

She was also a client.

"At 2 o'clock," Pake laughed, looking forward to her first-ever tarot card reading.

"I've never done it myself. I'm hoping to... I expect she can... I will have a couple of questions that she can answer, clearly, and not just 'vague.' Because from what I'm hearing, all the readers have been given very, very clear and concise messages.

"I tried to pick readers with good qualifications."

Wellness is a conscious and evolving process to improve a person's physical, mental and emotional well-being, said Pake.

"There is a great interest in wellness and spirituality in this area and people have been driving to Toronto, Hamilton, and London for shows such as this. I am glad so many enjoyed the day. This show was a great success and will definitely be having another show next year. I was asked many times if we will have a 'fall show.' I will say I am 90 per cent sure we will, but will let everyone know after the executive meeting Monday night."

Saturday's Psychic and Wellness Show featured wellness vendors, psychic mediums, tarot readers, palmistry, and intuitive empaths. Admission was free, but visitors could also pay for 20-minute private readings.

"We have nine (psychics) in there now, we were supposed to have 10 but one couldn't make it. We had probably 300 people say they were interested or coming today, but there's no way to gauge how many. All of the (private reading) appointments were booked, for all nine. We had bookings from 10 right to to 3:30... everything's booked. I was surprised that they booked up so early."

Pake's alarm went off, and she rushed over to the pyschic's room to ring her bell signalling the end of another live session... and prepared for her own.

The next day, Pake gave her tarot reading two thumbs up.

"It was very insightful," said Pake. "The cards I pulled and what she interpreted they meant, all described who I am and what I do pretty much to a "T". The details in the reading were amazing!"
