Pickup stolen from Zehrs parking lot

The Ontario Provincial Police Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from the Zehrs Tillsonburg parking lot on Simcoe Street.

On Friday, November 11, at approximately 5:28 p.m., police received a call from a concerned resident reporting the theft of a pickup truck. The vehicle is described as a 2007 white-coloured GMC Sierra diesel pickup with silver coloured 20-inch fuel rims.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

Assault charges at The Car Bath

The Ontario Provincial Police, Norfolk County Detachment charged a 32-year-old male after police investigated an incident at Main Street, Courtland. On Sunday, November 13, at approximately 5:01 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen reporting an assault at The Car Bath.

Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a male become involved in a verbal altercation with another male which then turned into a physical confrontation.

As a result of investigation, police have charged 32-year-old Aaron MacGregor of London with assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000.

He was scheduled to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
