Around Annandale
Welcome to this week’s addition of News Around Annandale. We are Avery and Grace. Many awesome events have occurred since last week, and we are excited to share them with you.
On Wednesday, November 2nd we had a bus safety presentation with lots of fun games and trivia questions to help our students learn how to be safe on and around the bus.
Mr. Baxter, one of our Grade 8 teachers, has organized an exciting trip for Grades 6-8 to attend the play “Anything Goes” on December 7th at WCI. All students are reminded that forms and payment are due ASAP!
Every class in our school took a math common assessment to find out their math skills and comprehension to word and number problems.
On November 15th motivational speaker Sara Westbrook will be talking and performing in front of our school about being positive.
A note to the parents of our students here at Annandale to be a good role model by spending less time on electronics and more time with your family.
Our Grade 7/8 girls volleyball team had their 3rd game on November 3rd against Westfield. Unfortunately they didn’t come back to Annandale victorious, but we are still very proud of them.
