There should be just one week of Tillsonburg slo-pitch left weather permitting as two series were scheduled to play their fifth and deciding games on Tuesday night.

Last week Haines Roofing and Diamond Dogs captured their titles in A and D divisions respectively with both earning sweeps.

Men's A

Haines Roofing easily beat Maple View Variety who had suffered some key injuries along the way to sweep their A playoff series. The series clincher featured Haines' potent offence scoring seven runs in three consecutive innings.

Game Highlights-Haines rallied for four seventh inning runs to steal this one away. Andrew Burns, John Ralf and Dan Clark hit doubles in the rally.

Game Highlights-Everyone in the winner's line-up contributed at least two base hits and scored at least one run. Shawn Finch and Kevin Harrop were each a triple shy of hitting for the cycle.

Men's B

The B Final will go to a fifth and deciding game as Kekambas came from behind to walk one off against GC Lounsbury on Friday night. GC had tied the series on Tuesday night and put Kekambas on the brink after coming up with a 13-10 victory on Thursday night.

Game Highlights-GC Lounsbury took over the lead in the fourth and capped off the victory with a ten run seventh. Thom Puhr led the winners with a homer, a double and four runs scored.

Game Highlights-GC scored four sixth inning runs to take over the lead enroute to victory.

Game Highlights-This was a tight highly contested affair with the lead changing hands a couple of times. GC plated seven fifth inning runs to go up by five but Kekambas answered in their half scoring three.to pull within two. GC failed to score runs in their final two at bats and that proved to be crucial to the outcome.Kekambas facing elimination in their final at bat trailing by two loaded the bases with just one out and tied it on a base on balls,then up stepped Nate Shearer who stroked a clean base hit up the middle to walk it off for Kekambas.

Men's C

This series will also go to a fifth and deciding game as Ward's staved off elimination with a 16-12 victory over Pelicans in a game that featured nine against nine in Game 4 of the series.

Game Highlights-Ward's held a four run lead after five, Pelicans erased that with a seven run sixth. Ward's replied in their half with seven and the retired Pelicans in order in the seventh to escape with the win. Trevor Hawley led the winners with a pair of doubles and three runs scored.
