The Tillsonburg Ladies League wrapped up its season on Wednesday night with Indigo Lounge avenging last season's Finals loss to Corey's Restaurant, defeating them this year in five games.

The Men's Slo-Pitch Finals are slowly moving along as teams are finishing up the last weekend of playing in the SPN Provincials in Niagara Falls. The season will end a lot sooner than in previous years.

Ladies A

Indigo Lounge staved off elimination Monday night with a ten run victory over Corey's Restaurant on Monday night, tying their series at two games apiece. They got the jump early in the fifth and deciding game on Wednesday night and never trailed en route to an eight run victory to claim the title.

Both teams had successful campaigns with Corey's having an undefeated regular season and finishing fourth in the SPN Provincials. Indigo was right behind them in fifth and handed Corey's their only losses in Tillsonburg play.

Men's C

This series, which we'll call the commuter series, is tied at one after Pelicans evened the series with a mercy over Ward's Automotive on Thursday evening. Ward's, not wanting to forfeit, have had players commuting back from college to stay in the series!
