Tuesday, July 5th was a hot steamy day, making the Tuesday Lady Golfers at The Bridges at Tillsonburg glad they were retreating to the comfort of the air-conditioned Club House by late morning/early afternoon.
Twelve 18-hole ladies played for putts. In flight “A” Bam Mulholland was first, Phyl Lawrence was second and Carol Livingston was third. In flight “B” Wendy Coward was first, Lil Neale was second and Taye Jackson was third.
Lil Neale, Wendy Coward and Carol Livingston all had birdies.
Twenty 9-hole ladies played Bingo Bango Bongo. Mae Moffat finished first with 10 points. Marg D’Aloisio was second with 9 points and Bryden Sinden, Wendy Manson and Marion Hevenor tied for 3rd with eight points.
Marion Hevenor had a birdie on hole 2 and Wendy Manson had a birdie on hole 8.
Next Tuesday, July 12th the 9-hole ladies will be playing the back nine - always interesting.
