Voice of Slo-Pitch

Article content

This coming Friday will be the Annual Tillsonburg Slo-Pitch All-Star Night.

The night will feature one Ladies game and four Men's games with Energy Productions supplying the P.A. system and emceed by Super Jeff Gwyn! The bar will be manned by the Corey's Restaurant Ladies team, while Domino's will once again be setting up shop. Also the Zone Sports mobile shop will be there to satisfy your slo-pitch equipment needs!

This year the Men's teams will be selected via draft so players and team members are unable to be recognized at the time of writing. As well, the schedule may need to be tweaked and changed a little.

It's a good night to come out and cheer on your teammates and friends alike!

The previous week's winner in the Sammy's Fun Puzzle Contest was Cheyne Sarafinchin who correctly answered Jake as the first name of the celebrity who recently made an appearance at Sammy Krenshaw's! Cheyne used the name Jake Friesen of the Spartans to come up with his complete correct answer.

This week's Sammy's Puzzle Contest question is sticking with a hockey theme as it was free agent signing week. Sorry Leaf fans, no Stamkos for You!

The question is: What Texas city does all-star Jamie Benn play in?

Text your answer and the name you used to come up with your answer to 519-550-4210 before Sunday noon. Let's get over twenty entrants to draw from this week!
