Town flags at half-mast

Flags at all Town of Tillsonburg facilities have been lowered to half-mast to mark the passing of former Town Councillor Russell Honsberger on February 10.

Honsberger served on Council for 10 years, serving as a councillor, deputy reeve and reeve. He represented Tillsonburg at County Council for six years, and was a member of the Town’s Recreation Commission.

He was also a well-known member of Tillsonburg’s business community, operating Honsberger Brothers Paint, Wallpaper and Sporting Goods for 39 years with his brother, John.
