Brownsville Road closed to through traffic during construction

Oxford Road 20 (Brownsville Road) has been closed from Oxford Road 10 (Culloden Line) to Pigram Line for culvert replacement.

This is a change to the original proposal to maintain one lane of traffic throughout construction. Due to poor soil conditions, a full road closure was required for the safety of the workers and the public.

County Staff and the contractor will make every reasonable effort to maintain access for residents within the active construction zone.

Culvert replacement work is anticipated to be completed by September 11, 2015.

Updates about this road closure will be posted to the County website at www.oxfordcounty.ca/roads and to the Oxford County Twitter page.
