Organizers of the first Spring Expo in Tillsonburg were thrilled with their event, and they're excited to present Spring Expo 2 on Sunday, April 12.

The first Spring Expo featured a wide variety of vendors and services, filling up the Lions Auditorium at the Tillsonburg Community Centre in May 2014. Co-hosted by Sarah Bramburger and KathieLyn Ryan, the event raised funds for the London Children's Hospital.

Ryan and Bramburger are back with Spring Expo 2, also be held at the Lions Auditorium, Sunday, April 12, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is $2, 12-and-under free. Donations will be made once again to the London's Children Hospital and a local charity.

"We have a lot of volunteers helping out," said Ryan, noting the children's activities – supervised by Glendale HS students – include a play-doh table and face painting.

"We're also working on a clown or balloons, stuff for kids," said Ryan.

A Penny Sale table was added this year with each vendor donating an item. The penny sale draw will happen from 3-4 p.m.

"We have 40 vendors – we wanted to leave some room for the live demonstrations that are going on throughout the day."

Live entertainment was expanded this year, featuring 9-10 a.m. Greg Gingrich (guitar/singer); 10-11 a.m. Nicole Johnson (beach body coach), 11-1 Free Beer (members of the band); 1-2 Imagine Dance and Fitness, and 2-3 p.m. Elvis tribute artist Nick Lalli.

"We're really grateful for all the entertainers," said Ryan. "All of the entertainers are donating their time."

A kickback shopping night will be held at Trinkets in town on Friday, March 20, to help raise funds. Fifteen per cent of all sales from 5-9 p.m. at Trinkets, which will open for the fundraiser, will go to Expo 2.

"Hopefully it's a good night for her and for us," said Ryan.

Vendors include Scentsy, Avon, Regal, and Arbonne. Leather and embroidery, a tattoo vendor, homemade crafts, inspirational art, and pet boarding and grooming.

"We have a variety of craft vendors. We have so many... I don't want to leave anybody out."

There will be one main door prize, she said, and the canteen at the community centre will be open for food and beverages.

"It's going to be a really busy day," Ryan summed up. "I think we're going to have a good show. It will be a good chance to get families out – I want it to be fun for families."
