Tillsonburg Hydro launches new website

Customers of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. (THI) will now be able to access information about their local distribution company online at www.tillsonburghydro.ca.
The new standalone website, created by Akira Studio of Ingersoll, features a responsive, mobile-friendly design and meets the provincial standard for accessibility.
“We’re pleased to be able to make information about Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. more readily available to the public,” said THI board chair Phil Esseltine in a media release Wednesday afternoon. “Today represents a significant milestone for us in our development as a corporation.”
THI President David Calder said he’s also pleased with the progress THI is making with regard to its communication practices.
“We’ve been working with the Ontario Energy Board to improve our overall operations and having an online identity is certainly a part of that work.”
For THI customers, the new site offers information regarding core services, as well helpful tips on conservation and energy management. Online forms are also available for common requests such as streetlight maintenance.
“We really appreciate the expertise Akira Studio brought to this project,” said Calder. “Their familiarity with developing websites for other utilities was certainly an asset.”
