After great success last year, and positive feedback from ringette families, the Tillsonburg Twisters are once again hosting a National Ringette League neutral site game with the Cambridge Turbos vs Gatineau Fusion playing in Tillsonburg on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. during the annual TwisterFest Ringette Tournament.

The Cambridge Turbos are ranked first in the National Ringette League's Elite Eight with 17 wins so far this season.

Two Turbos are in the Top 5 scoring including Tillsonburg’s Taylor Campbell with 14 goals and 48 assists for 61 points in 18 games. Leading the scoring is Turbos teammate Jacqueline Gaudet, who has 91 points in 18 games.

Gatineau's Chantal St. Laurent, just ahead of Campbell in the scoring race, is another high-powered scoring threat with 64 points in 15 games.

Ringette will definitely be in the spotlight at the Tillsonburg Community Centre that weekend, Jan. 16-18, not just for the Saturday, Jan. 17 NRL game, but also for Tillsonburg Ringette's annual TwisterFest Tournament featuring local U8 to U16 ringette action.

Home to five teams this year – U8 Regional, U10 Regional, U12 Regional, U14 Regional, U16 Regional, the Twisters also have a combined U12 Provincial Petite team with Dorchester.

The Tillsonburg ringette program continues to develop to meet the needs of its new skaters and improve the skills of existing players.

Admission to the NRL game is $8, Under-16 is $5, and ringette players wearing a jersey are free.

The tournament will host plenty of activities on and off the ice, so check out this amazing sport! Contact Jeremy at tournament@tillsonburgringette.com if you any questions or looking for more information or sponsorships for the tournament.
