OPP look for robbery suspect

OPP are looking for a suspect who brandished a knife while robbing Princeton Variety on December 27 around 9 p.m.

Police said the lone male threatened an employee and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 19 to 30 years-of-age and 5’7” to 5’9" tall. He was wearing one-piece blue overalls with gray at the chest and shoulders, a dark open balaclava, dark shoes and a black backpack.

This is second robbery at the store in the last three months.

On Oct. 8 Oxford OPP reported a man brandished a hammer at a Princeton convenience store employee and demanded cash around 9:20 p.m. During that robbery police said an unknown man entered the Princeton Variety Store, but fled the store after a brief altercation with the male employee.

The employee was not injured. At the time of that robbery, the suspect was wearing black pants and a black jacket while his face was covered.
