The 2014 Houghton Agricultural and School Fair in Fairground Thursday had a real country flavour featuring exhibits in fruits and vegetables, needlecraft, arts and crafts, as well as games for the kids and adults including three inflatable bouncers, log sawing and tobacco tying competitions, face painting, a live country music jam, and displays, including Scales Nature Park's reptiles and Sonny's Llama Farm.
