Power restored in Tillsonburg

Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police were called to assist the Town of Tillsonburg on July 6, shorty after 4:30 p.m. after a tree fell causing damage to a hydro transformer. Several area residents in the west end of the town were affected by the power outage which occurred near the intersection of Victoria Street and Concession Street.

Several light-controlled intersections were not functioning within the area as well. Hydro has now been restored and all of the controlled intersections are now functioning again.
