On Monday, June 30, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the Turkey Point Marina and proceeded to remove two large Canadian flags 54x108 and 36x24 from the flag poles located at the front of the marina at Clubhouse Road, Turkey Point.

CATTLE THIEF ARRESTED
Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter at a dairy farm located on Greenly Line in Norwich Township on June 29, 2014.
The suspect(s) had attended the farm overnight and opened the gates and pen areas allowing numerous cows to walk freely around the property. After securing the cows back into the barn the next morning, the owner discovered that two young calves were missing.
Through investigation, the female Holsteins ages 4 days and 8 days were located on a property in Zorra Township. One male was arrested without incident on July 1, 2014.
A 19-year-old man from South West Oxford Township has been charged with the following:
Break and Enter to a place – Commit Indictable Offence
Fraud Under $5,000
Mischief Under $5,000
Theft of Cattle (2 counts)
Fraudulent Taking/Branding of Cattle (2 counts)
Theft Under $5,000 (2 counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (2 counts)
The 19-year-old was released on a Promise to Appear and an Officer in Charge Undertaking and will appear in Woodstock Court at a future date.
