Following the Opening Ceremony living flag, Tillsonburg's 2014 Festival of Music at Memorial Park began with a First Nations ceremony featuring Dan and Mary Lou Smoke from London. Entertainers followed including M.E. Law (California), Shaky D Band (Brantford), Dharma Road (Simcoe), Shoe Shine Boys (Norfolk County), and Bill Durst (London). On the Young Canada Performing 'Stage' under the Pavilion were the Tri-County Squares (Tillsonburg), Courtney Walda (Woodstock), Belly Dance with Karima (Brantford), Olivia Graham (south of Tillsonburg), Jaclyn VanHappen (south of Tillsonburg), and acoustic jam artists.
