A 48-year-old Tillsonburg male has been charged with racing a motor vehicle after Oxford OPP allegedly observed a motorcycle travelling at 178 kilometres per hour.

The bike was travelling on Cornell Road near Zenda Line just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. A traffic stop was initiated for the male driver and his passenger. Following the stop, the male was charged with

No Insurance - contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.

The vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days. The driver also had his licence suspended for 7 days.
