Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle speeding on Victoria Street in Tillsonburg. OPP conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle on Rolph Street.
The male driver failed a roadside approved screening device check and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with excess of 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milligrams of alcohol. He was brought to the Oxford County OPP detachment where further tests were conducted.
A 33-year-old Tillsonburg man has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle as well as driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on April 15, 2014.
