Fox Alley stop results in drug charges

Two Woodstock residents have been charged with drug-related offences following an early-morning traffic stop along Fox Alley in Tillsonburg.
The stop was initiated by Oxford OPP members on general patrol at approximately 2:50 a.m. Sunday, March 2.
As a result, a 30-year-old Woodstock male is charged with:
Adult Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
Driving while under suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
Driving Motor Vehicle with Liquor readily available (Liquor License Act)
A 30-year-old female Woodstock resident was also charged with:
Adult Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
Both parties were released on a Promise to Appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on March 25, 2014.
