North Pole weather, resident comes to Straffordville

St. Nick is used to weather at the North Pole, so Saturday’s distasteful taste of winter didn’t deter him from a scheduled appearance as the highlight of the annual Straffordville Santa Claus Parade. Santa arrived in style in a sleigh gracefully pulled by a pair of draught horses, rather than eight tiny reindeer, finishing off a popular event which Old Man Winter couldn’t prevent the community from sharing and enjoying.
