Nofolk OPP lay charges

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 29-year-old male and 34-year-old female after police stopped a vehicle at a Highway 59, South Walsingham.

On Thursday, November 28 at approximately 12:52 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Regional Road 45 and Highway 59, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.

Charged with the following offences is a 29-year-old male of Norfolk County:

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamines

Possession of Marihuana

Possession of Cannabis Resin

Fail to comply with Recognizance x2

Laundering proceeds of crime

Charged with the following offences is a 34-year-old female of Norfolk County:

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamines

Possession of Marihuana

Possession of Cannabis Resin

Laundering proceeds of crime

Drive while disqualified

Improper number plate light

Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
