Langton Mini Blades judges on the same page

Langton's Mini Battle of the Blades brought together 10 figure skaters, 10 hockey players, three celebrity judges, a CBC camera crew, and an arena full of supporters Tuesday night to decide which combined-sport pair, skating lively 90-second figure skating routines, would advance to a national level and online voting on the CBC Battle of the Blades website.
It turned out the three judges -- Norfolk Mayor Dennis Travale, retired NHL player Ryan Vandenbussche, and Skate Canada judge Sheir Bradshaw -- were all on the same page, selecting Paige Vandendriessche and Jordan Vanacker to represent Langton against six other clubs from across Canada.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Norfolk County's KidSport.
