Sarah Sandor (second from left) received the Governor General’s Award Friday evening during commencement exercises as Glendale High School’s top academic performer with an average of 94.17%. Oshaen-Lynn Swartz (unavailable for the photo) was second in overall proficiency with an average of 92.67% while Hannah Hopper (left) was third overall at 91.5%. Sandor, Alexis Helsdon (third from left) and Sidney Robertson (right) were also recognized as a Glendale Blanket Award Winners for combined contributions to their schools in academics, activities and athletics.
