The O’Neil Knights have had a busy and fun week!

On October 2nd, Grade 6 and 7 students took a trip to the Carolinian Forest Festival at Springwater. The students got to participate in many events in the Carolinian forest. There were snakes, birds, insects, spiders, butterflies, salamanders and more! Lessons were taught and the students had lots of fun.

Yesterday was our annual cross country meet! It took place at the Regina Mundi Catholic high school in London. This year had the most participation yet. There was tons of spirit and effort from our students. They all did amazing and tried their best!

Holly the service dog was welcomed into our school today. Students gladly welcomed this lovely dog into our school community. Holly will be working with students that have mental health or trauma issues throughout the school. All students and stuff thank the Canine Assisted Intervention for this addition to our school!

Don’t forget Knights, October 11 is a P.D. day and October 14 is Thanksgiving Monday, so have a great time being thankful with family and friends during your four day weekend!

Finally, we have gladly welcomed a new addition to the O’Neil family. Fiona Thompson, daughter of Mrs. Thompson, our former Grade 7 and music teacher was born last Friday. She’s a very beautiful baby girl. Congratulations Mrs. Thompson!
