Cruisin' for a Cause at the Tillsonburg A&W

Today is the fifth annual Cruisin’ for a Cause Day at A&W locations across the country, including the restaurant at 533 Broadway in Tillsonburg.
Their slogan is ‘End MS.’
For every Teen Burger bought today, Thursday, August 22, A&W will donate $1 to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
In Tillsonburg, more than $2,300 was raised for the MS Society, surpassing their goal of $2,000.
This year, said local A&W manager Georgina Wilson, MS fundraising has successfully surpassed its target of $2,200 in Tillsonburg – not including Thursday’s Teen Burger donations, or money raised from this evening’s weekly Cruisin’ the Dub, a popular classic car show.
In 2012, Cruisin’ for a Cause raised more than $1.3 million across the country, bringing their four-year total to more than $3.3 million to help end MS.
