Cooling Station available at the Tillsonburg Community Centre

An air-conditioned area of the lobby at the Tillsonburg Community Centre is available for people to escape the heat.

Several seats and small tables are available, and a drinking water cooler. Vending machines are nearby and accessible public washrooms. There is a pay phone available and free Wi-Fi Internet, provided by Execulink.

The building is open to the public from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Tillsonburg fire chief Jeff Smith reminds residents, "Have your 72 hour kit ready in case of emergency, and stay hydrated by drinking lots of water.”
