Information sessions on the Delhi Community Health Centre's phase three expansion are currently being offered to service clubs in Delhi.

Colin Barnes, a retired kidney specialist, is presenting the sessions on behalf of the centre to inform residents what the $1.5 million expansion will mean for the town.

Barnes has already completed three presentations, one of which ended with a $5,000 donation from the Delhi Kinsmen.

“We are just putting our money right back into our community and what better cause than this one?” said Kinsmen past-president Brent Stefan.

The Kinsmen raise money through events such as barbecues and the beer tent at Harvestfest.

“This is community money going back into the community,” said Stefan. “This is a perfect example of why service groups are important in a community.”
