Pitch, Hit and Run competition

The Tillsonburg Minor Baseball Association held its Pitch, Hit and Run competition Saturday afternoon on the Grandstand Diamond. Players in five different divisions competed for the right to represent TMBA at sectional competition at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St Mary's, Ontario, on May 25th. Overall champions from that event advance to provincial competition at Toronto’s Rogers Centre (SkyDome).

Winners Saturday, were as follows:

Boys 7/8

Overall Champ - Eli Newson.

Pitch Champ - Newson; Hit Champ – Newson; Run Champ – Saumel Connors.

Boys 9/10

Overall Champ – Brandon Balazs

Run Champ – Balazs; Pitch Champ – Balasz, Travis Lamb, Tyson Foster; Hit Champ – Joel Garnham.

Boys 11/12

Overall Champ – Alex Fishback.

Run Champ – Fishback; Pitch Champ – Duncan McLean; Hit Champ – Fishback.

Boys 13/14

Overall Champ – Tanner Gaitens.

Run Champ – Bailey Herron; Pitch Champ – Gaitens; Hit Champ – Gaitens.

Girls 13/14

Overall Champ – Ashley Anderson.

Hit Champ – Anderson; Pitch Champ – Anderson; Run Champ – Anderson.
