Drug, driving charges laid

A Norwich Township woman is facing charges after being stopped for speeding by Oxford County on the weekend. The female driver was observed by officers on Friday evening on Highway #59, at approximately 8:15 p.m., alleged to be travelling 54 kilometers an hour over the posted speed limit. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for 7 days. The driver was alleged to be breaching her conditions of bail as well as in possession of cocaine. She was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Twenty-one-year-old Natalie Reyneveld of Norwich Township is charged with the following:
Possession of a Schedule 1 Drug - Cocaine - Section 4(1) Controlled Drugs & Substances Act (1 Count).
Fail to Comply with an Undertaking/Recognizance - Section 145(3) Criminal Code of Canada (4 Counts).
Racing a Motor Vehicle - Section 172(1) The Highway Traffic Act (1 Count).
