Oxford OPP say one person was airlifted to hospital after crash on Plank Line

Oxford OPP say one person was airlifted to hospital after a second crash on Plank Line shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Police say they responded to a two-vehicle crash that has resulted in temporary closure of Plank Line from McBeth Road to Mount Elgin Road, as well as Ebeneezer Road being closed from Dereham Line to Duffy Line.

Three people were transported by Oxford EMS to Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll. Two had non-life threatening injuries, and the third was later air lifted to London Health Sciences with critical injuries.

Mount Elgin Fire Department were also at the site of the crash.

O.P.P. Technical Traffic Reconstruction Investigators were called to the scene of the third major crash in the county in one day.

The collision remains under investigation.
