Kinsmen Easter egg hunt Saturday
The Tillsonburg Kinsmen Club's annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. this Saturday (March 30) at Memorial Park, rain or shine.
The event is free but the club is accepting donations of non-perishable food for the Tillsonburg Helping Hand Food Bank.
Prizes will be awarded in each of three age categories (5-and-under, 6-9 and 10-12) for finding a special egg. Easter goodie bags donated by Tillsonburg A&W will be provided, and the A&W bear plans on making a visit.
The Tillsonburg Kinettes will be selling hotdogs, chips and bottled water at the event.
Good Friday hunt in Langton
The Langton Firefighters Women’s Auxiliary will be hosting its 24th annual Easter egg hunt Good Friday (March 29) at the Langton Community Centre.
Signup is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., with the hunt beginning at 11 a.m. sharp.
Six special eggs will be awarded in each of three age categories (1-4, 5-8 and 9-12). Freewill donations in support of the event will be accepted.
