Sunday’s CCW at the Tillsonburg Legion featured seven matches and a series of stunning, spinning, muscle-busting, super-kicking, hammer finishes.

Tag Team

The team of Freak Show and Reck defeated the Big Money Titans in a tag team match to open the show.

Freak and Reck meshed well and were one step ahead of the Titans all match. The end saw Reck hit Mr. Atlantis with a Stunner and Freak Show finishing him off with a spinning roundhouse.

Singles Match

Notorious TID defeated Rob Rage in a hard-hitting battle featuring the two biggest guys on the CCW roster. TID pulled off his standing Muscle Buster finisher to take the victory.

Ladies Championship

Jewells Malone retained her title in the Ladies Championship match over Ianna Titus. Ianna put in her strongest showing to date but could not overcome the champ.

Lancashire Cup Championship

Cezar retained his title in the Lancashire Cup Championship match over John Greed. Post-match Cezar exclaimed that he had held the title now for nearly two years and ‘there was simply no competition in CCW.’ Notorious TID answered the call and challenged him to a title match on May 5.

Singles Match

Shawn Spears defeated the returning Jake O’Reilly in an amazing mat classic. Jake targeted Spears’ leg, and Spears targeted Jake’s arm with various attacks and submission attempts. The finish saw Spears hitting O’Reilly with a hopping DVD to score the three count.

Ladies Match

Courtney Rush returned to CCW after a two-year hiatus to boos from the crowd. In the end it was Rush laughing however as she caught Leah Von Dutch in a quick roll-up pin with her feet on the ropes to take the win.

Heavyweight Championship

In the Heavyweight Championship Match Tyler Tirva called out Robbie E for being unprofessional as he decided to cancel last minute on both the shows he had slated for Ontario.

As a replacement for Robbie E, ‘The Highlander’ Robbie MacAllister was added to the card last minute. The Highlander gave the champ a real good run for his money and it appeared CCW was looking at a new champ. That was until Tirva resorted to his usual dirty tactics and caught MacAllister with a quick low blow and a Super Kick to the face.

Tirva celebrated after the match all the way to the locker room. The celebration was short-lived though as Freak Show dragged Tirva back to the ring and tossed him back to Robbie who nailed the champ with his Highlander Hammer finisher. The champ, Tirva, then issued Freak Show a title shot and told him that his Farewell Tour wasn’t going to last the year – it would all end on May 5 at the Tillsonburg Legion.
