Drug charges laid in Tillsonburg

 Oxford County OPP have laid drug-related charges after being called to assist with a female at an address on Venison Street in Tillsonburg on Wednesday.

Police said they located a female at the home suspected to be under the influence of narcotics at around 11:30 a.m.

The woman was taken to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.

Gina J. Alexander, 23, of Tillsonburg has been charged with the possession of cocaine, marijuana, and failing to comply with an officer in charge.

Alexander was held and scheduled for a bail hearing at the Woodstock Courthouse on December 20, 2012.
